American Stainless Tubing strives to make the best ornamental tubing in the industry.
From two locations conveniently located near the Intersection of I-40 and I-77, our finishing equipment allows us to produce a finished steel tube at a quality others rarely achieve. Employee dedication and our ISO 9001-2015 certification ensures that the ASTI quality is consistently achieved.
American Stainless Tubing’s formation developed from its founders’ need to find tubing when they were in the stainless steel furniture business. Unhappy with the quality of tubing on the market, Paul Haughton and Tommy McCoy, owners of Romac Metals, decided to make their own. They were later joined by Fred Lampe and became the leaders in the ornamental stainless steel tubing business. They emerged from retirement in 1994 to found ASTI at the insistence of their former customers. Their goal was to produce a superior quality tube and create a company with superior quality sales, manufacturing and delivery. They accomplished their goals and ASTI continues to set the standard in quality stainless steel tubing.
American Stainless Tubing joined the Synalloy team in January 2019.
